Planning a holiday to a specific country can be easy. When you then come to a conclusion on a country, the main problem starts, finding a place you want to visit? How about I give you a couple of the best destinations in the world, and they just so happen to be in the same country! Although both of these holidays are in Egypt, they both offer tourists an amazing amount to do, and in luxury too.
Sharm El Sheikh is a grand awe inspiring country, built for royalty. This is a great place to travel to, not to mention one of the most luxurious places in the world in terms of accommodation. Diving in Sharm offers any diver a great experience, from swimming with wildlife to wreck diving. If Camels are not your thing, then you don’t have to get a ride on one to traverse the desert, instead all you need is a Quad Bike! Sharm El Sheikh is one of the biggest cities in Egypt, and it isn’t short on what it can offer, because of it’s position in Egypt, it is easy to access other places like Cairo. From here you can visit the Sphinx and the Great Pyramids. St Catherines Monastery is a gracious and glorious place to venture to. This is the most important religious icon in Sinai, and there are plenty of day trips here.
Hurghada, this is a glorious location situated in the centre of Egypt, south of Sharm El Sheikh, but it is posted next to the Red Sea. Snorkelling and free diving are very big here; the corals and wildlife surrounding Hurghada are truly wonderful. You don’t even need to go diving to enjoy the underwater world, if you just want to see it, there is a fantastic glass bottomed boat that you can take a ride on. Something that is recommended here and is different to Sharm is the Safaris. Hurghada tour operators will offer you the chance to travel out into the sand dunes on jeeps, and jump around on dune buggies. It also gives you the chance to travel to villages like Bedduin, which are situated in the middle of the desert, and you can see how they live in this harsh climate.
