The top drinks for holiday makers around the world!

It confuses me why people argue about which drinks are the most popular and the best. Many People think that wine is the biggest selling alcoholic drink in the world, you couldn’t be more wrong, it’s beer! Beer is the king of Alcoholic drinks, and although this is a broad area, I would like to look at the more specific drinks available, and in different places. So let’s start somewhere random then move onto some larger places:

Cuba is the place of cocktails. The Cuba Libre, this is the drink that is the most popular in Cuba, loved by many a tourist. Cuba Libre, this is a very easy and quick drink to make up, with only three ingredients, mainly Rum and coke, with a slice of lime. This drink may be a simple one, but everyone seems to like it. There is also the Mojito, loved by many tourists, but also all over the world.

Egypt, this is our next stop. Slightly larger than Cuba and receives more tourists each year. Well for us, in Egypt the biggest selling beer is Stella. Everyone who reads this has probably just thought “what Artois”, and you would be wrong. It is in fact a beer with a 4.5%ABV which is when you think about it quite a high strength. Heineken brought this drink and it’s brewery in about 2002.

America is the big one. Anything that comes to mind? This may be a product made by the Budweiser people, but it isn’t their main drink. Unless some random people are buying it and storing it away, Bud Light is the biggest seller to tourists and locals. This is the drink that you can guzzle down in copious amounts without feeling damming effects of drunkenness for quite a while. Bud is very close, but these two are the complete front runners for alcoholic drinks in the United States.

So are you seeking for Egypt holidays, Cuba holidays or how about something a little more different like Maldives holidays, where you can invent your own maybe more experimental cocktail?
