Nepal is a country where flying a plane can be dangerous yet very exciting. Capital city Kathmandu is surrounded with high mountains and you will have to fly between mountains to a different city within Nepal. Flying experiences in Nepal was one of my enjoyable but scariest experience in my life. Below are some of the things you can do in Nepal.
If you are going for site seeing of Himalayas I advise you to catch the morning flight to have a clear view of the Landscape and the Mountains. There flights going out of Kathmandu to different cities every day and airlines such as Budha Air and Tara Air can provide cheap tickets to your chosen destination. This is another opportunity to see the beautiful Landscapes, Mountains and White river of Nepal. Local flights in Nepal can change at a moments notice so it is vital to book and reconfirm your flight a few days ahead, especially if you are heading to a remote village or some other distant destination.
If you are looking to go to the range of Mount Everest you have choices to go through bus which might take a while and also a flight which is one of the most dangerous flight journey of Nepal yet very enjoyable. This gives you an opportunity to see the highest peak of the World. There is also a place where you can learn to fly a plane. Flying a plane in these landscapes gives you just a different experience than off being a passenger.
In Nepal you will also be able to enjoy outdoor activities such as trekking, paragliding, white river rafting and more. Second biggest city of Nepal after Kathmandu is Pokhara, where you will be able to do all the activities I have listed above. Other than the activities there are other things you will be able to enjoy such as Wildlife in Chitwan, Highest Temple Manakamana, Ancient Palaces in Gorkha.
