For either adults or kids, trampolines are great to exercise and socialise. Trampolining also has several proven fitness benefits other than being brilliant fun! Regular use of trampolines and rebounders increases muscle strength and improves your fitness by elevating your pulse rate and ensuring that oxygen is pumped around your body more efficiently. A ten minute trampolining session provides the same health benefits as a half hour run and is much more entertaining to boot! Mostly injuries occur on the mat, but big brands and better makes generally have double bounce system. Mats uses two layers of well padded and cushioned sprung mats, which provides lowe bounces for the kids but it can handle upto 17 stone adult (and that 17 stone can be lost in no time, if you use trampolines regularly!)

Recreational outdoor garden trampolines are circular to encourage all the bounce is towards the centre for safety reasons. Rectangular trampolines are intended for athletes who are focussed and more serious about exercising and health, so this might be the best option for you if you just want the trampoline for fun. But it might just be your mental health that would improve the most. The sheer exuberant fun of jumping up and down in a safe environment is guaranteed to make you smile or laugh out loud and that will make anyone of any age feel really happy!
