There are of course many reasons why you should seriously consider going on one of those world famous Egypt holidays. The fact is that I had decided to go to Egypt with a couple of my mates for a bit of diving. I learn underwater diving in Egypt as I had never done it before I travelled to this country, they have such a big range of wildlife on offer.
During our stay we managed to book in at a luxurious hotel with a huge swimming pool that just happened to be one of those all inclusive holidays as well. The Egyptian food is pretty good with a lot of it influenced by the Turkish control over the country that lasted a massive 300 years.
The History
Historians love the Ancient Egyptians as there is so much to take in from them, it is certainly safe to say that they have one of the most well know histories on the planet. The Valley Of The Kings was another place we managed to get to within Egypt and even if you are not a big fan of history in general I would say this is worth visiting. You do not truly see Egypt until you see all of this, how the people did it is still beyond me.
The Next Journey?
Well as you can tell I am bit of a history geek so next year I am off on my Cuba holidays to experience the country for the very first time. This time I am really hoping to actually learn a bit more on Cuba’s history along with the Cuban Missile Crisis and of course the revolution.
So if you haven’t managed to visit Egypt before I would certainly say put it on the long list of things to do in your life, you will not regret it.
