My Holiday in Canada!

I recently went on a holiday to Canada. I know that doesn’t sound technically correct. In a way i did. We wanted to travel from Vancouver to Winnipeg via car. There were three places that we really wanted to make sure we saw. The one in the middle was Calgary.

In Vancouver is where this holiday started. Although i had read a lot about this area, it looked a bit different to how i had thought about it. This is now one of my most favourite places in the world. The scenery is truly astonishing, and the city itself has a particular beauty about it. You wont be able to get bored here, we found all kinds of things to do throughout the day and night. What a way to start our Canada tours. As a further note i have arranged for Vancouver holidays for the rest of my staff as well.

After this, we had to put pedal to the metal and drive about four hundred and fifty miles to the amazing city of Calgary. We passed through Kamloops, unfortunately we didn’t have the time that we needed to make a stop. We arrived in Calgary and got a good night sleep. Lucky for us something called the Calgary Stampede was going on. This is a huge event that they hold annually and is often referred to as the Greatest Outdoor Show in the World. The best way to explain it is; this is a place for cowboys, then afterwards a nice circus event, where they have all kinds of dangerous acts. It was amazing, and I would recommend a holiday to here any day.

We then embarked on our final 600 mile drive to Winnipeg. This is a dream for any book reader, there is the Millennium Library, you can find out about anything here. After we had visited some of the sites like the Winnipeg art gallery and the Manitoba Museum, we knew it was time to leave. But it was a holiday that we will always remember, one of the best times of my life. Alaska Cruises also do something like the fly drive, only all you have to do is relax.
