The flight to Sri Lanka may set you back quite a lot in terms of cash, but once you get there the prices are unbelievably low? There is no much in the way of expenses to pay. The chance to be treated like royalty is not something you could come across in many other countries. There is a mass of jungles and forests so the chance to go on safari is so, the ability to have an adventurous holiday is available to all. This just like every other holiday in the world, has some downsides that may put you off. The weather is one of them, the rainy season comes about around October and through January, and there is no avoiding it. The rain is quite simply torrential. The rain may be annoying, but some can muddle through it, there are other reasons that may put you off. This is a very poor country, and it is still torn by civil war, which you really don’t want to get caught up in. Just make sure that you don’t enter the forests without a guide or a tour, it is important to make sure someone is with you at all times. Then there is the injections that you need to prevent yourself from obtaining any nasty illnesses, now this is the worst for me!
