I can understand why people dress up when it comes to going to the airport because they are getting on a plane full of loads of people and there are a lot of people out there that like to look their best for all kinds of situations including ones like this. However is it really necessary to put on all of that silver jewellery when it comes to the airport and even more importantly, would it be better off and waiting until you arrive n holiday.

before you leave with all of your best jewellery on make sure you know about security, it is a lot tighter in some place rather than others, the US for example are very tight on all of their security. They will often ask people to take off all of that turquoise jewellery because it can interfere with the systems in place and will make the detector go off. something worth knowing is that when you land you will most likely have to do the same as well so know this well.
Being Comfortable
being comfortable on a flight, especially a long one is very important indeed and are you actually going to be comfortable in all of your best clothes and items, I seriously doubt it. Take the silver brooches off and make sure you can rest properly. there is no way you are going to get nice and comfy if you are in your best jewellery. Who sleeps in jewellery after all?
one a final note you always need to be aware of the people around you. if you are wearing the most expensive jewellery that you own then you are a target for thieves so make sure that you never parade around too publicly with things such as thi.
