Easily Adapt to the Spanish Culture

When you travel abroad even the simplest of tasks, like asking for directions, can seem difficult especially if you don’t speak the language either. You may not even consider some of the differences that may appear when you are in a different environment. After looking at luxury villas Spain and the Moraira villa images you could do with a few more tips to help you on your way.

One thing that most people don’t know is that stamps are most commonly found in tobacconists rather than post offices. It sounds a little odd but is actually very handy. In Spanish these shops are called estancos and stamps are sellos. This can be very convenient when you are sending postcards of your wildlife holidays.

Another issue will be the plugs used in Spain. People from the UK just need a simple adapter to make the plug fit. If you are from the Americas then an adapter that takes in to account the difference in voltage will be necessary. In some cases this could mean getting an adapter with a built in transformer to alter the voltage your device is receiving.

Everyone likes to make at least one call home whilst they are on holiday to check on the pets or a relative. However it is the cost that stops most people. Make you life easier and get a phone that is able to use the Spanish phone network. In a nut shell what you need is an unlocked phone that uses GSM.

A $9 international calling card from STA will come pre-paid with $10 worth of credit. The best feature has to be that this card allows your friend to call you free for 30 minutes, so now they have no excuse to see how you’re doing.
