When it comes to the UK I cannot say that I have been to a decent theme park yet. I have been to all of the normal theme parks that people in Britain go too and they are very expensive for what they are and you can tell the staff just do not want to be there. It seems that when I got to places like Florida there is not a sad person in sight, there is no one swearing at the staff and the atmosphere there is just amazing, everyone is just so on top of the world.
So in Europe we have Euro Disney right? If you are looking for a theme park (or two) to visit then the two at Disneyland Paris are very good indeed. The universal park in Spain is okay but I think Euro Disney comes out victorious. In the USA there are hundreds of theme parks jotted around, Disney may not be the best (it is in my opinion) but it gets the most visitors and they are all very happy.
In the UK I think we are in need of a bit of Disney Magic. Although the decision to put the park in Paris was a good one thanks to the fact it made the place more accessible to most of Europe I will say that having it in the UK would have been amazing. Florida parks receive a lot of the UK tourists and perhaps if they had built it here some of them would have stuck to Brtain.
In the end there are a few okay theme parks in the UK and there are many things to do such as spa breaks one of those UK family holidays and of course even dancing holidays.
There is a lot to do in the UK, I still think it is a shame we are without Disney.
