#1 – Architectural Advances

In 1936, Gatwick unveiled the world’s first circular airport terminal, dubbed the Beehive. Though they are commonplace these days, it was an extraordinary achievement for the time. #5 – Private Fliers

Gatwick was not originally a public airport for major travel. In the 20’s and 30’s, for example, it was a private flying club controlled by Ronald Waters. The flying club that used it, which was the Surrey Aero Club, became so popular though, and brought so much attention to the airport, that it was soon granted a commercial flying license, which meant that members of the public could fly in and out of it.

All I could do was remember moments of when i was on the plane and then waking up at the arrival desk… Something else I better tell you as well, this also happened on the previous return flight as well¦ So I may have started to panic a little bit, even though I didn’t know what I was panicking about! I was really looking forward to getting to Egypt, and then jumping back on the plane. Things just had to go wrong didn’t they! Across the loud speakers, the Captain could be heard announcing that some heavy turbulence was heading our way. OK I braced myself, and it was really rocking and shaking from side to side, I was really scared, and there was even a storm outside, things couldn’t have looked much worse. Then It was over, as quick as it had started it had finished. I remember thinking to myself, why don’t you faint now you plonker!

Egypt holidays turned out to be something I never returned to, next up was a choice between Maldives holidays or Sri Lanka holidays, both involve a plane!

New Delhi is the capital of India, and it is quite a prospering capital too. Many business men and women reside around here, and the education is phenomenal. There is an astonishing amount of activities in India, including visiting the Zoo’s and seeing some of the rarest animals in the world, and let’s not forget riding on a Rickshaw.

This is a very poor country, and it is still torn by civil war, which you really don’t want to get caught up in. Just make sure that you don’t enter the forests without a guide or a tour, it is important to make sure someone is with you at all times. Then there is the injections that you need to prevent yourself from obtaining any nasty illnesses, now this is the worst for me!

Sri Lanka holidays have become very popular, but if you want something more relaxing and less dangerous, you should try Maldives holidays or Caribbean holidays!

If you are working 9-5 everyday then over time stress will build up, sadly this is just natural. I do however doubt very much that Mr and Mrs Redknapp do stay in these resorts on a regular basis, but never mind what do any of us know about the lifestyle of a celebrity.

There is never any bad press about this couple, in fact they appear in all kinds of adverts. I am happy for them, I think they have done well. Thomas Cook is the longest running Tour Operator in the UK, so they are a very respected and trusted Tour Operator. This business has done very well to bond so well with the Redknapp’s.

Surely we should look at this from all angles though. Celebrities don’t camp out in the same hotels as us, we all know that is true. In fact are Louise and Jamie not lying to us about where they are staying? Somehow I do not think that this holiday is going to be all that great.

Sharm El Sheikh Holidays are a favourite of the Celebrity demographic, showered in luxury hotels, however saying that Egypt holidays have been popular with the entire country. So is Thomas Cook wrong to be employing role models in their adverts, of course not, I have been on Hurghada holidays, what fun it was, no celebrities spotted though!
