Winter Weather Wreaks Havoc in the UK

The UK is in chaos after several days of intense winter weather and snowfall.
Roads are littered with abandoned vehicles in many of the worst hit parts of the country. As temperatures rallied into positive figures today many were returning to retrieve their vehicles.
Passengers Stranded Beneath the Channel
Eurostar train break downs, caused by the unusually severe winter weather, have resulted in tens of thousands of travelers stranded or delayed. As many as 55,000 travelers have had their journeys disrupted by no less than six train break downs.
