Thomas Cook has now started to utilize the abilities of Celebs. By using them in the same way as every other business on the planet would, by turning them into Advert monkeys. In order to be a bit different Thomas Cook took a different avenue. This tour operator has been largely dedicated to its UK customers, so used a celebrity loved by all in the UK. If someone were to ask anyone who Jamie Redknapp was they would probably know straight away. His Wife Louise is now on a judging panel for a dance contest, viewed by millions. These two are known very well by the UK!

So what is that makes this advert even more special. Well Jamie and Louise are people that everyone can relate to. They embark on a holiday with Thomas Cook and are seen relaxing on the beach, going for a meal, nothing to fancy. This advert intends to give people the impression they can live like a celebrity as well. I do however doubt very much that Mr and Mrs Redknapp do stay in these resorts on a regular basis, but never mind what do any of us know about the lifestyle of a celebrity.

There is never any bad press about this couple, in fact they appear in all kinds of adverts. I am happy for them, I think they have done well. Thomas Cook is the longest running Tour Operator in the UK, so they are a very respected and trusted Tour Operator. This business has done very well to bond so well with the Redknapp’s.

Surely we should look at this from all angles though. Celebrities don’t camp out in the same hotels as us, we all know that is true. In fact are Louise and Jamie not lying to us about where they are staying? Somehow I do not think that this holiday is going to be all that great.

Sharm El Sheikh Holidays are a favourite of the Celebrity demographic, showered in luxury hotels, however saying that Egypt holidays have been popular with the entire country. So is Thomas Cook wrong to be employing role models in their adverts, of course not, I have been on Hurghada holidays, what fun it was, no celebrities spotted though!

Thomas Cook has now started to utilize the abilities of Celebs. Basically the same way that every other company in the world does, by advertising with them. In order to be a bit different Thomas Cook took a different avenue. This tour operator dedicates most of it’s time to the British public. Jamie Redknapp is a name known by almost everyone, and for no reason hated. His Wife Louise is now on a judging panel for a dance contest, viewed by millions. Most people in the UK really like this couple, there is nothing bad to say about them!

What is it in this advert that makes it oh so special. Well Jamie and Louise are people that everyone can relate to. They can be seen travelling with Thomas Cook to a modest resort, and relaxing on the beach. Many people will see these celebrities travelling here, and think that for a week or so they could also live like a celebrity. It is extremely difficult for me to believe that these two celebrities actually would consider staying in the same resorts as us, with the cash flow they have.

These two never seem to get bad press as well; they appear to be the perfect couple. This couple have worked well together, and do very well together. Thomas Cook is the longest running Tour Operator in the UK, so they are a very respected and trusted Tour Operator. A combination of these celebrities and this specific business has seemed to take off very well.

Surely we should look at this from all angles though. Now really do we expect to see celebrities in the same buildings as us more common people, no we don’t. Surely these two are lying to us about the hotel they are really staying at? Somehow I do not think that this holiday is going to be all that great.

Sharm El Sheikh Holidays are a favourite of the Celebrity demographic, showered in luxury hotels, however saying that Egypt holidays have been popular with the entire country.

There are many reasons for choosing Egypt as a luxury holiday destination. For some, Egypt’s 365 days of sunshine proves the major attraction with well-developed resorts, great beaches and excellent hotels.Ancient Egypt’s antiquities with the magnificent temples at Karnak, Luxor and Edfu and the Pyramids of course prove the greatest draw for many other visitors. For a growing number of tourists though, it’s the clear blue waters of the Red Sea that proves irresistible for snorkelling or scuba diving holidays.

If your idea of great luxury holidays involves snorkelling or Scuba diving, then Hurghada is probably the place for you! Hurghada Hotels cater for the single traveller, couples and families and are perfect for a relaxed beach holiday if that’s all you want or can serve as the ideal base for diving holidays in Egypt. Those with a taste for luxury holidays are well catered for in Sharm el Sheikh hotels with a choice of sumptuous five-star resorts complete with private beaches and fantastic international cuisine. Those on a tighter budget can base themselves in compact, family-friendly boutique-style Hurghada hotels that are intimate, welcoming and very human scale.

Hurghada’s warm waters are ideal for the fish and coral that make this place so popular with the diving community. Most established dive sites are suitable for all levels of diving ability, from outright novice to seasoned expert.Divers are rewarded with a rich and varied marine life that includes moray eels, turtles, grouper fish and blacktip sharks. The Bottlenose dolphin is particularly populous in Hurghada’s waters, and the chances of meeting pods on a dive are very good! And even if you are a non-diver, you can still enjoy the sights of the underwater world of the Red Sea by booking a trip on a small submarine where you can dive to a maximum depth of 22m with around 50 minutes of bottom time.

Egypt holidays to Hurghada can also take advantage of sports on, not just under, the water too! Hurghada is the top Red Sea destination for wind and kitesurfing and is rapidly gaining a great reputation as a wake-boarding destination too. Hurghada offers good, strong, winds throughout the year, sustained by the mountain ranges just behind the town and Giftun Island offshore. The coast itself is also pretty flat without fringing reefs, creating the perfect conditions for wind and kite surfing. Many Hurghada hotels also offer less extreme and more relaxed watersports from banana rides to snorkelling excursions, pedal boats, canoeing, catamarans, glass-bottom boats and parasailing.

If diving doesn’t float your boat so to speak, perhaps Nile Cruises past the ancient monuments and temples would be more suitable.
